Of all the people mentioned in this post, I have the most hope for Greta Thunberg. Once she understands the big picture, she will change her opinions.

These people can indeed be a bit exhausting. Still, I try to keep in mind how difficult it is to be correct about everything, and recognise that I myself am subject to naive realism and that I don’t exactly understand our predicament 100% accurately. Btw the “design shortcomings” link seems broken.

Fair. I agree that some humility is due, acknowledgement of where uncertainty lies... But, ugh!! These guys SO dominate the discourse and they're mistaken in SUCH obvious ways, despite having had so much opportunity to think on it!

Thanks for the tip about the link, which should've gone to my post 2.1. The correction won't appear until December, when I've set this to republish.

**You'll notice that the posts that you receive as a subscriber are these extant ones. I made them visible online all at once and have set them to retroactively go to subscribers' emails, one-by-one, week-by-week. BUT! I've also recorded videos for each of the 7 major sections, which I'll start sharing next week. So there's still new content to be discovered!

I reckon it likely that there are parts of our predicament I see worse than they really are.
